As the U.S. Military moves forward with retrograde operations and reductions in force, one of the biggest challenges our nations Warfighters face is maintaining readiness. Addressing these challenges in a constrained budget environment requires strong leadership and effective teams who can leverage the defense industry to provide equipment and support solutions to help them maintain operational readiness for current and future missions.

Please join us for the Warrior Expo East Keynote delivered by Scott P. Moore. He will discuss leadership, recruiting, training, and equipping effective teams to maintain operational readiness. Tactical Vehicle Fleet communication and sensors technology has been neglected for years in anticipation of new vehicle delivery. With many military vehicle programs canceled or deferred, today’s Tactical Vehicle Fleet will need to last much longer than their planned operational lifespan.

ADS, Harris, FLIR, and Synexxus are pleased to present the Granite Tactical HMMWV – a fully armored tactical vehicle with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) communication and ISR sensor technology completely integrated into rugged and modern crew stations. This interactive demonstration offers a unique opportunity to learn how much can be economically accomplished to make the tactical vehicle fleet capable and relevant now so you can be ready for the next fight and beyond.

Do You Have Reset Priorities, Readiness Requirements, or End Of Year Funds to Obligate? Quick, efficient obligation of funds for your equipment requirements can be challenging in today’s DOD budget environment. ADS offers many procurement solutions ideally suited to provide the brands you trust and meet your obligation rates.

This interactive discussion provides insight into the agility, flexibility, and rapid obligation capabilities of the DLA Troop Support Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) programs as well as other procurement solutions for maintaining operational readiness. We will discuss strategies for using End of Year (EOY) funds to assist in reset priorities, potentially using available OCO dollars to buy forward readiness in FY14 with the understanding the FY15 dollars may not be available. Additionally, a portion of the presentation will provide a backdrop on the future of OCO dollars based on Afghanistan troop levels as well as predictions for future funding.

As the U.S. Military moves into retrograde operations, maintaining readiness, reducing costs, and managing equipment accountability are top priorities in the current constrained budget environment.

As equipment is recovered in theater and transported to home stations, it is imperative that these valuable assets are properly stored and secured for operational readiness and future use. This presentation provides the information you require to take precautions now and avoid unnecessary FLIPL’s later. Join us and learn about currently available storage solutions that can effectively mitigate FLIPLs and protect personnel from liability for property they lose or damage.

More Fight. Less Fuel.
Efficient & Integrated Alternative Operational Energy Solutions for the Warfighter.
Location:

Virginia Beach
Convention Center
Meeting Room 2B
(2nd floor)

Date:Time:

July 10, 20141500

Military missions require large and growing amounts of operational energy with supply lines that can be costly, vulnerable to disruption, and threaten the lives of Warfighters moving fuel across the battlefield. In accordance with the DOD’s Operational Energy Strategy, our nation’s Warfighters must improve their ability to measure energy consumption, reduce demand, and increase the efficiency of energy use to enhance combat effectiveness.

The largest operational energy consumption on the battlefield does not come from vehicles and weapons systems but from the energy required to power mobile facilities in remote theaters of operations. This special event will focus on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) alternative operational energy technology such as hybrid systems, solar power, radiant barriers, and power distribution units that fully integrate with currently used traditional power generation to reduce the overall demand for energy in forward operations.
